Best known for her unique interpretations of the Maine Coast and its reflections, Sarah frequently travels and draws her inspiration from many areas around the world.
Her oil paintings are interpretations based on a strong sense of composition, color relationships, and patterns. She is most interested in the process of drawing and redrawing on the canvas. A current focus is painting both the reflections on the surface and what is underwater, such as rocks, ledges, seaweed, fish etc., mostly seen from excursions in her kayak.
